UK Bungee once again joined Top Gear Festival for another Car Bungee - this time in Sydney, Australia.

A new year meant a new Car Bungee for UK Bungee Club, and this year took the famous Top Gear Micra even further to the vibrant city of Sydney, Australia.  Having already made an appearance at Durban, Johannesburg and Moscow, the appetite for the Car Bungee was just as large at Sydney Motorsport Park, where the festival was taking place between the 8th & 9th March.

With high speed races and some of the world's most impressive cars taking to the track, the Top Gear Festival is one of the most exciting events in a car enthusiast's calendar. Plus with an appearance from The Stig, the banter of Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond, as well as Car Football, the event is always full of laughter as well as the sound of engines.

However, despite all that the festival has to offer, the Car Bungee is certainly a highlight for many.  With celebrities taking to the wheel of the stripped out Micra, Sydney's Top Gear Festival welcomed radio DJ Jules Lund, Australian journalist and co-host of Weekend Today Cameron Williams and former F1 driver Bruno Senna. With a launch platform of over 200ft, the Micra formed an impressive sight as it rolled off the edge and avoided crashing into the floor as it was pulled back skywards by the bungee cord - all to the screams of the celebrity who was sitting in the driver's seat!
