Bond’s Iconic Bungee Recreated – UK Bungee Club in 007: Road To A Million
Season 2 of 007: Road To A Million has landed on Amazon Prime, and UK Bungee Club was proud to deliver one of the most memorable moments of the series opener – a jaw-dropping 700-ft bungee jump from the Luzzone Dam in Switzerland.
The show sees nine pairs of contestants pushed to their limits in Bond-inspired challenges, all overseen by Brian Cox as “The Controller.” In a direct homage to the legendary GoldenEye intro, the first stunt of the season tasked one member from each team with leaping from Luzzone Dam in a spectacular freefall.
Although the original Bond sequence was filmed at the Contra Dam, production opted for Luzzone thanks to its dramatic alpine backdrop and unique jumping setup — allowing us to more closely recreate the cinematic feel of the 1995 classic.
For our team, this project built on previous work at Luzzone Dam, including the Top Gear Car Bungee. Our in-house crew designed and hand-made the specialist cords at our UK workshop before spending over a week preparing on location. Partnering with safety experts Remote Trauma, we ensured every detail was managed to deliver a safe, but visually breathtaking stunt worthy of James Bond.
We’re thrilled to see UK Bungee Club’s expertise showcased on such a global stage. 007: Road To A Million is now streaming on Amazon Prime — keep an eye out for that opening leap!
